Our practice nurses are available by appointment to offer medical advice regarding travel and vaccinations where appropriate. Please telephone reception to book an appointment.
Our nurses can provide travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Please arrange an appointment for a travel consultation at least 6-8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.

TRAVEL ASSESSMENT FORM
We offer a full travel advice and immunisation service. If you are travelling abroad please complete and submit the travel form in plenty of time (we recommend 8-10 weeks) before your journey. You can request a form is sent to you via our online consultation page, you can call and ask for the form to be sent to you, alternatively you can pop in to the surgery to complete this.
Travel Vaccination
Travel advice is covered by the NHS, however not all vaccinations are covered by the NHS.
The following vaccines are immediately available in the surgery:
NHS: Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Hepatitis A, Typhoid
Yellow Fever vaccination is not provided in the surgery but available from specialist travel clinics.
