Every single woman on Earth will go through the Menopause. Whilst Some women go through this smoothly and with no symptoms, others will suffer extreme symptoms that will have an enduring and negative impact on their lives and relationships. The menopause can feel like a lonely and scary place, which is made worse by a lack of understanding and support in society today. This is something that our Health & Well-Being teams want to change at your surgery and in your local community. The key to living well with this transition is to understand your symptoms, fully understand your treatment options, and find ways to improve your whole health by managing the stressors and lifestyle triggers that sometimes make the symptoms of menopause worse. In 2024 our Health & Well-Being teams will be working hard to offer women the support and the education they need to live well with menopause and not suffer.
