New Prescription Guidance from the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group will come into force from the 1st April 2017 with regards the prescribing of Paracetamol and other Over The Counter Medications.

Evening, weekend and bank holiday appointments are available locally at Saffron Health and Belgrave Health Centre . For an appointment please call 0116 3660560 after 6.30pm.

Westcotes Healthcare Hub and Merlyn Vaz Health and Social Care Centre are open between the hours of 8am -8pm 7 days a week and Bank Holidays. For an appointment call 0116 3660560 or NHS 111. (PLEASE NOTE Walk-In appointments are not available).

The ‘Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)’
Almost 60% of patients (who have repeat prescriptions) have now arranged for their repeat prescriptions (once requested) to be sent directly to their local pharmacy electronically. This then saves patients having to call into the surgery solely to collect their repeat prescriptions. Instead patients collect their repeat prescriptions directly from their nominated pharmacy at a time which suits them (as lots of local pharmacies have very generous opening times). It is simple to arrange -all that you need to do is to call into your chosen pharmacy to set this up. More is explained in the leaflet below

Younger patients 18-30 -Would you like to join our Patient Participation Group (PPG)?
Any of our patients (aged between 18-30) who may be interested in joining our PPG are invited to contact the Practice (by completing one of our online patient feedback forms). Our PPG is a very active group that meet every 2 months. Further details (along with minutes of past PPG meetings) can be found under the 'Patient Participation Group' section of this website.
