A wide variety of clinics are held within the Practice by our experienced practice nurses and other health professionals. Some of the clinics are listed below which can vary from time to time .
The emphasis is in monitoring treatment, continuing education and advising on self-management and recognising when chronic conditions such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) or diabetes is getting worse and educating patients so they know what they should do in such situations.

Open to Merridale-registered and also non-registered patients. This gentle and effective treatment by Chiropractor Matt Robbins includes spinal manipulation, joint mobilisation, massage and medical acupuncture tailored to your particular problem. Education and guidance are provided to help you recover and to prevent the problem from recurring. Common conditions treated include back pain, neck pain, shoulder problems, hip and knee pain and headaches.Chiropractice is an established method of adjusting the bones and joints of your body to improve the function of your skeleton, and through this process help the nervous system to work more efficiently. The purpose of chiropractic care is to rebalance your body to relieve pain and discomfort and increase mobility. It is about getting rid of pain and then remaining pain free by optimising the health of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems to achieve 'proper function'.Please note that charges apply for chiropractic treatment. We are pleased to confirm that a very experienced Mental Health Practitioner, Andy Lane is now part of our clinical team at the Practice. Andy has many years experience of caring for patients who have mental health problems. Andy holds clinics Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and sees patients who may need psychological support and/or a general assessment of their mental health needs and well-being. Andy also conducts home visits for those patients who cannot attend the surgery. Lots of people now suffer problems with their mental health and there is a wide range of conditions which Andy can deal with. The reception team are aware of the common mental health problems which can now be booked in with Andy (which includes problems such as depression, stress and anxiety).
